FLC 2026 ended the regular season with winning the GHCLC AA club league championship. It was a fantastic effort from all of the boys all weekend.

It started with a 7-6 win on Saturday, May 18th against a very good Eastside Lacrosse team. FLC 2026 went down 3-0 initially but rallied back for a win. An outstanding combination check from Cooper Savelle and Heath Rhudy followed by a clear by Brendan Rey sealed the victory. This all came after Reece Topfer put in the game winning goal with 53 seconds left in the game. Goals and assists for Saturday’s game were as follows:

Noah Harmel- 1 goal

Carter Pancake- 1 goal

Joseph Reinhardt- 1 goal

Caleb Canatella- 2 goals

Cameron Stepp- 1 goal

Reece Topfer- 1 goal and 1 assist

Brendan Rey- 1 assist

On Sunday, May 19th FLC 2026 won in the championship game against Sidewinders by a score of 8-6. This was after losing to the same Sidewinders team a week ago by a score of 5-1. Every boy played incredible, smart lacrosse on Sunday and they came away with a championship. Goals and assists for the Championship game were as follows:

Cameron Stepp- 2 goals and 1 assist

Noah Harmel- 1 goal

Ben Hanover- 1 goal and 1 assist

Caleb Canatella- 1 goal and two assists

Joseph Reinhardt- 1 goal

Brendan Rey- 2 assists

Reece Topfer- 1 assist

Defense played great all weekend and was led by Cooper Savelle, Heath Rhudy, Lucas Clark and Ryan Johnson. Marquis Mingle played outstanding in goal all weekend. Jacob Norris ran a ton of LSM and was a difference maker on ground balls and killing man down situations. Ben Hanover, Reece Topfer and Cameron Stepp did a great job in the faceoff circle.  Brendan Rey was dominant clearing the ball, killing man down situations and distributing the ball on fast breaks. Connor Detamore, Alex Wohlfort, Kieran Devine and Kain Farley were critical contributors all weekend. All of the coaches are so proud of this team.  They moved up two levels of play this year and won a championship finishing the GHCLC league with a 7-2 record.

Well done boys. It would not have happened without each and every one of you!
