2017 League PlayTeam Alignment
For the 2017 Season all Fallston Lacrosse teams participating in League Play will be playing in the MYLA (Maryland Youth lacrosse Association) League. In 2014 and prior years, all travel teams have played in the A or B conferences of the MYLA league, however “in house” teams played in the Harco (Harford County) Lacrosse League. Moving forward the “in house” teams will now play in the MYLA “C“ conference.
The practice and travel requirements for the C teams will be similar to the Harco League we have participated in the past.
The main differences are;
Games will now be played against other C teams from the Greater Baltimore area.
Games will be officiated by paid referees vs. High School Players.
All Fallston teams will now receive the same uniform.
This move will allow the C teams to play teams more appropriately matched to their skill level. Players will be evaluated based on their skill level. The majority of games will still be played on Saturday with some weeknight games later in the season, and two practices per week.
During registration you will have the option to indicate that you would like your son to be considered only for the C conference during the evaluation session. If your son is selected for an A or B team then there will be additional fees for tournaments and Sunday League Play. Due to the changes in uniforms and leagues, there will be an increased registration fee this year.
